Our story

In the beginning....

In the midst of a world that stood still during the unprecedented lockdowns of 2020, destiny had other plans for our group of friends scattered across the UK and Europe.

What began as a humble home game and a means to stay connected amidst isolation, soon blossomed into something special that we knew we had to share. In 2023, episode one of our flagship podcast, The Death of Destiny, launched to the world.

Two years later, thousands of listeners have joined us on this wild ride, and our network of RPG entertainment is expanding constantly with new shows and systems being added into the mix.

Welcome to Describe Your Kill: your guide to uncharted realms of excitement and wonder – where the power of storytelling knows no bounds.

Your hosts on the journey into death-defying adventure

Game master
Craig Perry

Lover of games, purveyor of TTRPG dreams, Craig is the Describe Your Kill Gamemaster. Born and raised in Norwich, UK, Craig found his way to TTRPGs via the magnificent Glass Cannon Podcast. Having been a listener for years, Covid presented the opportunity to create his own games. He has now GM’d his players through hundreds of hours of Pathfinder Second Edition.

Expect dodgy accents, crude humour, and a passion for interactive storytelling.

Matti Ryan

Matti is a writer and performance artist, with a huge passion for RPGs and video games. Having grown up religiously playing the likes of Ocarina of Time and obsessively watching Star Wars, Matti’s love for fantastical adventure and sci-fi has been a constant while growing up. Now as an adult, that passion has only grown and Matti is excited to join together a love of writing with the joy of collective story-telling through the tabletop RPG format.

Jason Jones

Jason has been playing RPGs since before he entirely understood what they were. Starting with classic video game RPGs like Fallout and Baldur's Gate, before eventually realising that these were things you could do by replacing a mouse and keyboard with a few reams of paper and a spare four hours every weekend. Jason enjoys a wide variety of RPGs, and would like to DM more if only he was organised enough and understood the concept of 'prep'. Personal favourite RPGs are Monster of the Week, Blades In the Dark and Paranoia. Outside of RPGs, Jason can usually be found at his desk, either trying not to start another run of Slay the Spire or finding a way to procrastinate around painting his Zombicide minis.

Chris Bargh

Chris is our resident geek from Gloucestershire. In his late thirties, Chris has been a life-long fan of FPS games, Chicago Cubs and Manchester United. When he’s not playing a chaotic bard, Chris is usually out being active and making the rest of us look bad; Chris is massively into field hockey and cycling. He first met Craig together at university where they formed the infamous band ‘Frankie Rabbit’ and Scarborough was never the same. Chris’s love for music persists, his favourite bands are Skindred, Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake.

Kimon Giannakopoulos

Our 22-year old German import is the newest addition to the Describe Your Kill team, Kimon is the podcast's resident min-maxer. An avid gamer with a Dark Souls addiction and an aspiring musician at heart, his favourite bands include Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rival Sons and Vulfpeck. When he's not playing Pathfinder and dishing out ridiculous levels of damage, you'll find Kimon putting pineapple on pizza and berating anyone who says he's wrong for doing so.
